AICTE IDEA Lab

MSME Technology Business Incubator (TBI)
The MSME TBI supports budding entrepreneurs by offering incubation space, mentorship, and access to funding schemes under the Ministry of MSME. Startups working on technology-driven solutions receive guidance from industry experts and business professionals. The incubator helps innovators refine business models, prototype their products and plan market entry strategies. It also facilitates access to government grants and MSME support programs. Through structured handholding, the TBI plays a key role in transforming ideas into commercially viable enterprises.
Central Instrumentation Facility (CIF)
The Central Instrumentation Facility houses high-end analytical and characterization instruments essential for advanced research. Students and faculty across disciplines access tools such as UV–Vis spectrophotometers, microscopes, biosafety cabinets and material characterization equipment. CIF supports high-quality experimental work in biotechnology, chemistry, materials science and biomedical engineering. Expertise from trained technical staff ensures accurate data collection and safe equipment handling. The facility enhances the research capabilities of the university and supports innovation-driven projects.
Computer Science Facility

MODROB Facility (AICTE-Supported)
The Mechanical Engineering MODROB Facility, supported by AICTE, offers a specialized space for students to transform mechanical concepts into tangible prototypes. It includes 3D printers, CNC mini-routers, fabrication tools, design software, and testing instruments that support rapid prototyping and product development. Students gain hands-on experience in mechanical design, materials selection, and manufacturing techniques.
Plant and Animal Cell Culture Facility Facility (AICTE-Supported)
This facility provides a controlled and sterile environment for carrying out plant and animal cell culture research. It is equipped with CO₂ incubators, laminar airflow units, cryopreservation systems and essential culture media resources. Students learn cell handling techniques, tissue culture methods, and advanced biotechnology applications. The facility supports research on drug testing, genetic engineering, and regenerative medicine. It is a valuable resource for startups and researchers working on biomedical and biotechnological innovations.
Common Working Space (Co-Working Space)
The co-working space at Shobhit Innovation and Startup Foundation provides a dynamic, collaborative environment for student innovators and early-stage startups. It offers shared office infrastructure including workstations, meeting rooms, internet connectivity, and discussion corners. The space encourages teamwork, cross-disciplinary interaction, and idea exchange. Regular brainstorming sessions, workshops, and mentoring meetings are conducted in this setting.
